Cacao Crunch Bliss Balls
The perfect 3pm pick me up!
Ingredients
1 cup organic rolled oats
½ cup almond butter
¼ cup raw almonds
¼ cup desiccated coconut + extra ¼ cup for rolling
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
¼ cup 100% pure maple syrup
Pinch of sea salt
Method
Add all ingredients except the whole almonds to a high-speed blender and blend on high until all ingredients are combined. If the mixture is too dry add a touch of warm water, or if too wet then add some extra coconut or oats. Then add the whole almonds and pulse mixture so almonds are roughly chopped. Using wet hands roll a tablespoon of the mixture into balls, then roll in the extra desiccated coconut. Put in fridge or freezer to set.
The addition of the whole almonds adds a nice crunch to your bliss balls!
